Hello,
Today we were giving Black Jack (a hamster who we are petsitting) a slice of cucumber, but as it didn't fit threw the bars, we left it wedged between them.
Then Cookie, our very cheeky free-roaming guineapig decided he would pinch it for himself! He was very happy with himself, but Black Jack was not impressed. But we gave her another slice, and she's cheered up now!
Top Tip: Make sure you pay your animals equal attention as they get very jealous.

Pet Sitting
Hello,
Since yesterday I have been petsitting two Syrian hamsters, Black Jack & Nibbles, while their owner is on holiday.
If you go on holiday you can ask family or close friends to look after any pets you have. Make sure you leave them instructions for caring for your furry friend, such as:
If you don't have anybody to look after your pets you can look for a boarding shelter. For the best boarding shelter seek advice from your local veterinary surgery and friends and family who have previously used, and liked a shelter.

My guineapig is VERY cheeky!
Hi,
Yesterday I learned not to leave my dinner tray on the floor unattended with my guineapig, Cookie on floor as he proceeded to eat the green beans off my play.
Note to self: Don't leave dinner in the reach of greedy guineapigs.
Random Fact: The first guineapig was domesticated in about 2000 BC by the people living in the Andes as a food source.

5 Fact on Dogs
- The chow is the only dog that doesn't have a pink tongue, it's blue!
- Greyhounds can see better than any other dog.
- Dogs have around 100 facial expressions, most of them made with their ears.
- You're subject to fines and/or imprisonment for making ugly faces at a dog in Oklahoma.
- Dogs sweat through pads in their paws, not by salivating.
Strange!

Hi,
Yesterday I bathed my guineapig Cookie as he had been sat in a pile of...well you know. He managed to get me very wet (as usual)! But he smelled lovely and sweet when he came out.
He had his routine wash which he always has after I've bathed him (I don't know why!).
TOP TIP: When bathing a guineapig use a shallow box of some sort as they like to see out.
